Adventure Escape Mysteries – Puzzle Lovers

Haiku Games is back with a new Adventure Escape game, this time a romance-adventure in which you get to choose your character and then date men, women or both! You’ll solve the world’s greatest puzzles in the most beautiful locales. This walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any of the puzzles in Chapter 3 of Puzzle Lovers. Chapter 3:

1. We’re in Frijonya now, where a massive glacier has melted and revealed a secret Viking gate. Talk to all the contestants and decide who you want as partner for this next adventure. Then tell Xia who you’ve chosen. I want some variety, so I chose Alex.
2. Move the pillows and grab the garter belt. Also, grab the fun straw from the cup and the Velcro strap that’s holding the curtain. Open the door, even though we can’t leave yet. The snowmobile is stalled, so we need to fix it.
3. Use the items you found to fix the snowmobile, as shown below. Then head out the door.
4. You have another dialogue choice. I’m not sure it matters, but I said, “I’ll drive.”
5. Another team got here before us. Talk to them and they’ll leave. Pick up the rune document they left behind. Also, grab the replica shield and empty water bottle. There’s also a runic disc on the snowman’s chest, underneath his scarf, that you should take. Grab the striped bar and also tap the snowmobile to make it leak oil.
6. Use the empty water bottle to collect some oil. Also, use the replica shield to dig up the three mounds of snow. One mound will reveal steps and the other two will reveal two more runic discs. Take them.
7. You should now have three runic discs. Zoom in on the door and place them in the slots. They’re basically a combination lock. Take a look at the rune document. We need to also figure out which four numbers we need to look up. So look at the steps and place the striped bar in each slot. Note down the number of stripes you see sticking out from each one. You get 3546.
8. Look up those numbers on the rune document to find the four runes you need. Then enter them into the combination lock to unlock the door.
9. It’s still not opening. The hinges are stuck, so use the oil to grease them up. Then go through.
10. There was an avalanche and it’s now blocking the door. Grab a candle and also tap on the camera to make it erupt in flames. Use the fire to light the candle and then use that candle to light the others.
11. Now we can see! Grab the frozen ax. Then light it on fire to make it a burning ax and use it to break down the ice wall.
12. Pull off the sheet to reveal a giant drill! Also, move aside the two chairs. Use the candle to light the torch. Also, brush aside the snow to reveal a red gem. It’s wedged in tightly. Grab the Viking knife and move the animal skin that’s under it. Also, notice the engraving on the wall. Grab the wooden lever from it.
13. Grab three more wooden levers. Also, use the Viking knife to get the mysterious crystal that’s wedged into one of the levers. Then add the other four levers.
14. Place the mysterious crystal on top of the torch. A red beam will shine on the engraving. Take a look.
15. Now copy the positrons of the pink lights on the engraving into the levers. It should look like the image below.
16. Look inside the panel on the drill that just opened up. Solve the gears puzzle by dragging gears until the all connect. Move everything else out of the way. I made a video for you.
17. After using the drill to break through the ice, grab the ladder and clear the rubble. You have another dialogue option and then you can climb up.
18. We’re out but it’s hard to see! Tap on the screen to move through the blizzard. Grab the tapestry pieces and the handle. Use the handle with the shovel to have a working snow shovel.
19. Use the shovel to dig up the three snow mounds. We can’t chop the wood yet. But grab the BBQ tongs and look at the door to see it’s locked by another combination lock. The clue on it tells us to count the different shapes we see on the cabin. Count them up and you get 4 spirals, 5 pointed piece of wood, 6 jagged piece of wood, and 7 hearts. So enter 4567 into the lock to open it. Then go through.
20. Use the shovel to dig out the snow, revealing a plank. Lift the rug and use the tongs to grab the heart token. Open the guest book and grab another heart token from inside, then move the book aside to reveal a game table. Push the plank against the wall to close the hole. Push the cabinets up, as well. Also, take the replica axe.
21. Notice the frame on the wall. We’ll get to that soon. Open all the cabinet doors and get two more tapestry pieces and a candle lighter.
22. Place all the tapestry pieces on the wall. Then put them all together like a jigsaw puzzle. If you tap on the plague, Alex can translate it for you. I’m not sure if the other characters can, too.
23. Again, you have a dialogue option. It’s up to you what you want to say. Then grab the game board.
24. Go back outside and use the axe to chop some firewood. Then go back in and put it in the fireplace. Use the lighter to light it.
25. Now you have an intimate moment with your date. Cover the fireplace and then grab a cup of hot cocoa. Your date will start choking on something and cough up another heart token. Pick it up.
26. Place the game board on the table and add the three tokens. Now we have to play the game, the same one that couple created. Use the three heart tokens to trap the single heart piece.
27. Now you can grab the key. Insert it into the keyhole under the tapestry. A Murphy bed pops out!
28. Grab the phone from the bed to call Xia. She says you’ll have to spend the night, but to look outside. It’s the Northern Lights!
29. There’s another dialogue option, then go back inside.
30. Tap on the bed and choose how you want to spend the night.
31. We’re finally back on the plane and have to decide who to vote off. It’s getting harder to pick! I chose Alex just because I already spent some time with her and want some time with the others.
