Sparks – A Puzzle Adventure
I had high hopes for Cubetopia’s Sparks – A Puzzle Adventure based on the screenshots. It looked like a typical box-rolling puzzler, but with much better visuals than we usually see for these games. Unfortunately, it’s plagued by the most unresponsive controls I’ve seen just about anywhere. It would take ten swipes to get the box to respond. Initially, I thought maybe I had to swipe in a specific area of the screen, but that didn’t seem to be the case. The responsiveness doesn’t seem to have any rhyme or reason to it. The game does say BETA in the corner when you boot it up, so I’m hoping maybe sometime down the line they’ll fix the controls. But right now, I don’t recommend playing it unless you enjoy pain.
